Canada Escape Room Adventure Loading...

Well, it’s finally happening. We are on our way to Canada! Nine months of planning. Countless hours researching escape rooms and adjusting itineraries. And it’s all culminating in what will hopefully be a dream vacation.

It’s going to take me a while to write complete reviews for every single one of the rooms we’ll play on this trip, so I’m aiming to post some short updates on our new Instagram account. Keep a close eye on that and of course our Morty!

We have booked every playable TERPECA winner and finalist from 2025, some from 2024, and a bunch of nominees, plus highly ranked rooms on Morty and recommendations from other enthusiasts. Rooms we wanted to play but won’t be able to include Rain Corp at Escaparium Laval (replaced by the new Ctl Alt Reboot), The Family at Escaparium Shawinigan (which unfortunately went bust), and Curse of the Tiki Lounge, the first IRL game from tabletop heavyweight The Society of Curiosities (they sadly couldn’t get it ready in time).

I’m actually a little nervous about unrealistic expectations. Just how big of a gap is there between the best escape rooms we’ve played to date and what we’re about to play? The only 2025 TEPERPCA Top Room I’ve played is No. 77, Carnivorous. From the 2024 list, it was Shadow Zen (No. 95). Other Top Rooms from previous years include Extraction (No. 68 in 2023) and La Rebellion (No. 67 in 2022). That’s it.

We’re gonna try to keep expectations in check as much as possible and hope the fatigue won’t hit us too hard. Can’t wait!
